OSC Opens TraCSS “Waitlist” for Satellite Operators

Background:
NOAA’s Office of Space Commerce (OSC) is developing the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS) to provide basic space situational awareness (SSA) data and services to civil and private space operators in support of spaceflight safety. As of February 2026, 17 organizations are pilot users of TraCSS.
On February 4, 2026, the Office of Space Commerce opened a waitlist for satellite operators interested in joining as users of TraCSS. As the system moves into a full production environment, TraCSS will use this waitlist to invite spacecraft operators to onboard onto the system.
Note that at this time, TraCSS accounts are only available to organizations that own and/or operate spacecraft in orbit.
Sign-Up Process:
Visit the TraCSS “Pre-Registration/Waitlist” webpage for information on how to sign-up.
Interested organizations are also encouraged to review available documentation on TraCSS:
Questions regarding the sign-up process may be directed to the TraCSS team via email at: TraCSS.Outreach@noaa.gov.
