Regional Grant Opportunities Open to Commercial Space Sector
To retain and increase global competitiveness, regions must build public and private capacity for entrepreneurship and innovation to invent, improve, and bring to market new products and services, including in emerging, transformative sectors such as commercial space.
EDA’s Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS) Program helps regions to do just that, ultimately helping to better identify and align assets to bring technologies to market.
Through its two competitions — the i6 Challenge and the Seed Fund Support grant competition — the Program catalyzes the growth of entrepreneurial ecosystems throughout the U.S. by increasing access to support, expertise, and startup capital: essential elements to the success of entrepreneurial ventures in commercial space and other transformative sectors.
