TraCSS Workshop for Commercial SSA Providers

On Wednesday, July 19, the Office of Space Commerce hosted an in-person workshop for commercial Space Situational Awareness (SSA) data/products and service providers to discuss the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS).

The workshop was part of a series of continuing engagements with the user community to discuss the future of TraCSS. The event took place with the support of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA),

Wednesday’s workshop was a follow-up to the responses submitted to the Scope of Basic SSA Services RFI issued in early 2023. During the workshop, OSC representatives gathered input from participants on:

• SSA Data standards and formats
• How and what type of data should be shared within the TraCSS environment
• How and what type of data should be shared from TraCSS with the public
