All Systems Go: OSC Moves Out on “Space Commerce Certification”

The Department of Commerce’s Office of Space Commerce (OSC) is pleased to announce that our “Space Commerce Certification” proposal is taking the next step forward.

After months of effort working with partners and stakeholders in industry, the U.S. Federal Government, and the White House, OSC is making the next giant leap on mission authorization.

In the coming weeks, OSC will publish a “call for interest” for initial applications in the Federal Register.

We look forward to working with our commercial and agency partners to start the process of certifying novel space missions in the coming months.
