President Trump Issues New National Space Policy
Today, the White House released President Donald Trump’s National Space Policy providing direction for all United States space activities.

The National Space Policy sets out the nation’s commitment to leading in the responsible and constructive use of space, promoting a robust commercial space industry, returning Americans to the Moon and preparing for Mars, leading in exploration, and defending United States and allied interests in space.
Vice President Mike Pence announced the policy at today’s public meeting of the National Space Council.
Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross hailed the new policy, stating, “This new National Space Policy reflects the emergence of space commerce as a driving force for positive change in our economic and national security, contributing to America’s leadership in commercial space.”
