Department of Commerce officials and representatives from other government agencies emphasized the need to partner closely with the private sector to ensure the resiliency and defense of the U.S. space ecosystem against cyber threats.
“As the value of space to our economic and national security grows, so does the risk that malicious actors will attack our space systems,” Graves said afterward on Twitter. “The Commerce Department recognizes that these growing and evolving threats demand action.”
