Commercial Space Infrastructure Forum
The Office of Space Commerce invites members of the commercial space community and government partners to participate in the “Commercial Space Infrastructure Forum,” the next engagement in the “Commercial Space Competitiveness Forum” series.
As commercial space activity increases, the infrastructure supporting that growth is becoming more interconnected. Launch and reentry sites, ranges, ground networks, spectrum, data systems, cybersecurity, utilities, manufacturing and test facilities, transportation networks, financing, permitting, and community interfaces do not operate independently. Constraints in one part of the system can affect capabilities elsewhere.
The forum will bring together representatives from industry, government, infrastructure operators, state and regional leaders, technical experts, and other stakeholders to examine those connections and strengthen our shared understanding of the conditions affecting U.S. commercial space infrastructure.

About the Forum
What Is the Commercial Space Infrastructure Forum?
The Commercial Space Infrastructure Forum is a government-industry engagement hosted by the Office of Space Commerce to examine the systems, dependencies, and conditions that enable commercial space activity in the United States.
The forum takes a broad view of infrastructure. It includes the physical infrastructure required to manufacture, test, launch, operate, and recover space systems. It also includes the digital, communications, utility, transportation, financing, regulatory, and community systems that make those activities possible. The objective is to better understand how the system works together, where dependencies exist, where constraints are emerging, and what evidence is still needed to understand those conditions

Why This Conversation Matters
A resilient commercial space economy is a network of interdependent systems.
A launch site may depend on transportation access, power, communications, range services, permitting, specialized suppliers, test capacity, workforce, and community support. Ground infrastructure may depend on spectrum access, terrestrial connectivity, cybersecurity, geographic diversity, and resilient power. Manufacturing growth may depend on facilities, equipment, testing, logistics, financing, and predictable demand.
The forum will examine where infrastructure is keeping pace, where it may be under pressure, which constraints are local versus recurring, how shared infrastructure affects market participation and scaling, where government interfaces affect delivery, and what evidence is needed to distinguish perceived constraints from demonstrated capacity gaps.

Participation Guidelines
Commercial space infrastructure is built across companies, communities, regions, technologies, and levels of government. A useful picture of that system requires perspectives from across it.
Participants should expect structured, non-attributable discussions; clear separation between sourced evidence, stakeholder observations, analytical inference, and unresolved questions; no policy or program commitments made or implied; disagreement and counterexamples retained rather than forced into consensus; pattern-level analysis; no public release of breakout recordings; designated plenary programming for virtual participants; and continued post-forum evidence review and synthesis.
What Happens After the Forum?
OSC will review and synthesize the evidence and structured inputs captured during the forum. The post-forum process will examine which conditions were observed repeatedly; where evidence supports or challenges the pre-forum baseline; where experiences differ by geography, infrastructure type, mission, or organization; which dependencies appear across domains; where perspectives align or differ; what evidence gaps remain; and which questions warrant continued analysis or engagement.
Individual breakout comments will not be attributed to participants or organizations.
