EU Space Act Update (November 2026)

On October 29, 2026, updated text of the draft European Union Space Act (EUSA) was released by the Irish in their Presidency role of the Council of the European Union.

This updated version of the EUSA text follows the March 30, 2026, version released by the Cypriot Presidency, which may be accessed here.

The U.S. Department of Commerce, in coordination with colleagues at the U.S. Department of State and across the United States Government, is reviewing the updated text.

The Office of Space Commerce encourages interested U.S. stakeholders to provide OSC with any feedback or proposed redlines on the Irish version of the European Union Space Act text.
