OSC to Host Space Workforce Forum – May 7


The Office of Space Commerce’s Policy, Advocacy & International Division (PAID), will convene a “Space Workforce Forum” in Washington, D.C. on May 7.

This in-person and livestreamed event will bring together leaders from industry, academia, government, and workforce organizations to build shared situational awareness around the workforce dynamics shaping the U.S. commercial space sector.

The event is designed as a listening and learning environment. Inputs gathered during the forum will inform broader ecosystem awareness but will not represent policy decisions or commitments.

The forum will focus on structured listening and signal capture across three themes:

  • Workforce Pipeline & Supply
  • Training, Credentialing & Security Roles
  • AI, Emerging Technology & Future Workforce Roles
