University Spacecraft Operators Forum – May 27

On Wednesday, May 27, at 3:00 PM (EDT), the Office of Space Commerce’s Traffic Coordination System for Space team will host a “University Spacecraft Operators Forum.”

This group is designed to bring together spacecraft operators from academic institutions to share best practices for safe and responsible space operations.

This meeting will be held virtually/online (via GotoWebinar).

During this session, the team will provide an overview of the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS), which offers free spaceflight safety services to operators worldwide. We will discuss how university spacecraft operators can leverage TraCSS to enhance awareness of the space environment, improve operational safety, and support hands-on training for students entering the space industry.

The meeting will include time for open discussion, allowing participants to share priorities, challenges, and ideas for future forum topics relevant to the university spacecraft operator community.
